Yard Waste Pickup

1. PAPER YARD WASTE BAGS - 25 lb limit. 
2. REUSABLE TOTES - 25 lb limit
3. NO PLASTIC BAGS - THEY WILL BE LEFT
4. Only vegetative yard waste may be placed out for pickup.
5. Bundled branches 4' or less, that can be handled by one person without falling apart may be placed for pickup. Use non-plastic twine to make bundles. Limit 3 bundles per pickup unless prior approval with the borough office.
6. Excessive quantities of Yard Waste will NOT be picked up without prior approval and scheduling with the borough office.
7. DO NOT PLACE YARD WASTE, CHRISTMAS TREES OR BRUSH IN THE STREET.
8. IF YOU CONTACT THE BOROUGH ON THE DAY OF PICKUP YOU MAY  TEXT MESSAGE . Any messages received after 9 AM will not be collected that week. Do NOT email the office to be added to the list.
9. Place your yard waste curbside in front of your residence by 9:00 am on the morning of pickup

Yard waste pickup is weather permitting. If pickup is cancelled, the website will be posted.

*Cancellation Weather: Excessive Wind, Lightning Storms, Snow Storms or Snow Emergencies - Trucks are prepared for salting & plowing, Hazardous conditions for Borough Employees

Only put yard waste out for your own property. Yard waste collection is for residents of the Borough of St. Lawrence ONLY. Violation will result in being permanently removed from the pick up list.

Christmas trees may be placed out for collection on yard waste pickup days in the month of January & February. All yard waste rules must be followed. You must remove all decorations (lights, garland, tinsel, balls, etc.) from the tree, or it will not be collected.
